Working Principle
The internal mixer operates with two rotors rotating at specific speed ratios within the mixing chamber. Material is fed through the inlet and drawn into the roller gap where it undergoes squeezing and shearing by the rotors. After passing through the gap, the material impacts the sharp edge of the "W" shaped mixing chamber, dividing into two streams that flow along the front and rear chamber walls before returning to the rotor top. This closed-system process subjects materials to intense shearing and mixing under controlled pressure and temperature, ensuring optimal dispersion, plasticization, and formula effectiveness.
Mixing System
The "W" shaped mixing chamber features an "M" shaped lower pressure cover that creates a fully enclosed mixing space. The prismatic spiral-designed stirring blades eliminate dead angles, enabling thorough material shearing and dispersion to meet physical property requirements. The hollow-structured stirring blades are constructed from high-carbon steel with vacuum 72-hour deep nitriding heat treatment and hard chrome plating for increased hardness, ensuring superior strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, non-stick properties, and extended operational life.
