Working Principle
The internal mixer features two rotors that rotate relative to each other at specific speed ratios. Material is fed through the inlet and carried into the roller gap where it undergoes compression and shearing. After passing through the gap, the material impacts the sharp edge of the "W" shaped mixing chamber, dividing into two streams that flow along the front and rear chamber walls before returning to the rotor top. This closed-system process ensures strong shearing and mixing under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, resulting in optimal dispersion and plasticization of formula materials.
Mixing System Design
The mixing chamber features a "W" shape with an "M" shaped lower pressure cover, creating a fully enclosed mixing space. The prismatic spiral stirring blades eliminate dead angles, ensuring complete material shearing and dispersion. Constructed with hollow blades made from high-carbon steel, the contact surfaces undergo quenching, tempering, and 72-hour deep nitriding heat treatment followed by hard chrome plating. This advanced construction provides exceptional hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and prevents material sticking for extended service life.
