Working Principle
The internal mixer features two rotors that rotate relative to each other at a specific speed ratio. Material is fed through the inlet and drawn into the roller gap where it undergoes intense squeezing and shearing action. After passing through the gap, the material impacts the sharp edge of the "W"-shaped mixing chamber and divides into two streams, flowing along the gaps between the front/rear chamber walls and rotors before returning to the rotor top. This continuous cycle creates strong shearing and mixing under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, ensuring complete dispersion and plasticization of formula materials for optimal performance.
