Working Principle
The internal mixer operates with two counter-rotating rotors in the mixing chamber that capture material from the feeding port and transport it through roller gaps. The material undergoes compression and shearing between rotors, then impacts the "W" shaped chamber edge, splitting into two streams that circulate along chamber walls and rotor surfaces. This closed-system process ensures thorough shearing, mixing, dispersion, and plasticization of formulation materials under controlled pressure and temperature conditions.
Mixing System Design
Featuring a "W" shaped mixing chamber with "M" shaped lower pressure cover for complete enclosure, the system employs prismatic spiral stirring blades that eliminate dead angles. The hollow blade structure and all-alloy construction of contact components provide exceptional wear resistance, corrosion resistance, non-stick properties, and extended service life without requiring additional surface treatments.
