Product Overview
This custom low energy consumption combined mixer-granulator features all-alloy construction for components contacting materials (mixing chamber, side plate, pressure hammer, mixing blade shaft), eliminating the need for spraying or electroplating. Designed for stirring, dispersing, and mixing metal powders with binders and other formulations at controlled temperatures. Working Principle
The internal mixer operates with two rotors rotating at specific speed ratios within the mixing chamber. Material is fed through the inlet and drawn between the rotors, where it undergoes compression and shearing. After passing through the roller gap, the material impacts the "W" shaped chamber edge, splitting into two streams that flow along the front and rear chamber walls before returning to the rotor top. This closed-system process ensures thorough shearing, mixing, dispersion, and plasticization under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, optimizing formulation performance.
Mixing System Design
Features a "W" shaped mixing chamber with an "M" shaped lower pressure cover creating a fully enclosed mixing space. The prismatic spiral stirring blade design eliminates dead angles, ensuring complete material shearing and dispersion. Hollow blade construction and all-alloy material contact surfaces provide exceptional wear resistance, corrosion resistance, non-stick properties, and extended service life without requiring spraying or electroplating.
